Eco-friendly camping

Let’s recycle our waste together

At the entrance of the campsite, we have set up several sorting containers to help you adopt a simple and eco-friendly habit. You will find a composter for organic waste, a green bin for glass, a blue bin for paper, and a yellow bin for household packaging and plastic.

To make waste sorting even easier, we offer a practical rental kit that includes a specific bag for packaging, glass, and paper, as well as a “bio” bucket designed for composting organic waste. With these tools, everyone can effectively contribute to environmental preservation while fully enjoying their stay in nature.

In the campsite, containers are installed to collect aluminum cans, which are then donated to the KNETPARTAGE association. This charitable organization carries out humanitarian, social, and environmental actions to help vulnerable children in France and abroad.

KNETPARTAGE promotes the collection and recycling of used cans, donating the funds raised to support projects, particularly for children with disabilities or rare diseases. Since its creation, the association has funded 178 programs, recycled over 83 million cans, and helped more than 16,000 children worldwide.

Food waste

Food waste is not thrown away but reused to feed animals on local farms. By placing your edible leftovers in the designated refrigerator located in the laundry area, you are taking part in an ecological and solidarity-based initiative. This simple action helps reduce waste, gives a second life to our leftovers, and contributes to environmental preservation.

Quatra

In our kitchens, we carefully collect used frying oil to recycle it rather than letting it pollute the soil and water. In partnership with Quatra, a recycling specialist, we give it a second life by transforming it into biofuel. This simple action is part of our commitment to responsible waste management and active contribution to the circular economy. Through this initiative, we reduce our environmental impact and support the transition to more sustainable energy sources.

Our commitment

In our campsite, we prioritize trees and hedges that are adapted to our region’s climate. The compost made in our campsite is used for our own plantations, and we use mulching to nourish and protect our plants, as well as a drip irrigation system to perfectly water the roots and ensure better plant growth. Thanks to these more natural ways of nourishing and protecting our plants, we do not use any phytosanitary products.

For the maintenance of our campsite, we use eco-friendly products. To further reduce product usage, we strive to do most of the cleaning with the help of a steam cleaner, which allows us to deep clean, eliminate bad odors, make significant savings, and help allergy sufferers, as steam is effective against dust mites and other allergens.

For our environment, we encourage electric vehicle owners, and the campsite provides an electric charging station.

Our consumption

To reduce our energy consumption, we use LED bulbs, and we are gradually replacing our lights with solar-powered ones and installing motion sensor detectors. Please remember to close doors and windows if you are using air conditioning in your accommodation. Make sure to turn off the lights, TV, and air conditioning when you are not in your accommodation.

Water is life, so the campsite has installed water flow reducers (aerators, showerheads) in every communal sanitary facility and accommodation. Avoid wasting water and reduce your consumption to help us.

Our campsite is also equipped with solar panels, allowing us to reduce our energy consumption and prioritize a more sustainable and eco-friendly energy source.

We have provided a refrigerated water fountain to reduce plastic cup consumption.

To avoid wasting paper, we have digitized all our invoices and reuse non-usable white sheets as drafts or notepads.
